Mamboz Beach Cabanas is situated in the deep south of Sri Lanka in the village of Gurupokuna, 220 kilometers from the capital Colombo. Looking at the map of Sri Lanka one won't find Gurupokuna but from Tangalle, it’s another 20 kilometers towards Hambantota. "Mamboz Beach Cabanas is privately owned by Matthew T Gale and built intentionally small so as to provide guests with complete and hands on service. there are a total of 5 rent able spaces, 3 en-suite beach cabanas, a cute little room under the water tank aptly named H20 and a small room in the house. please note that H20 and the room in the house are not en-suite but toilet/showers are very nearby. with three different kinds of rooms we also have different price ranges in order to cater to all. " Each cabana has an on suite bathroom with shower and a double canopy bed with a daybed which can be used for a third person if needed. The verandas of each cabana over look the ocean and garden which consists of coconut trees, flowers and fish ponds afloat with lotus flowers. Plenty of hammocks and lounge furniture are scattered throughout to while away the day. A newly installed WiFi internet service is available here at Mamboz.
